Okay, I've been playing around with a new lens. It was SO cheap... I read a ton of reviews before purchasing it, but I just had to buy it with it being so cheap. It's the Canon 50mm 1.8. You can find it here. Anywho, I didn't have any sessions tonight and wanted to play around with the new lens. Here are a few pics. Of course, my poor children are always subjected to my constant picture taking. Ty, at 2 1/2, has already started telling me "Mom, that's enough pictures!" So, that left me with our pooch, Zipper, who happens to like her picture being taken! HA! (as long as there's a frisbee around, she'll do anything!)
By the way, the whole "HAT" thing was all Ty's idea... Josh say's the orange one makes him look like an inmate! HEE HEE! The truth is, it's way too little for his big head!!
this lense IS awesome...and so cheap too! love those pictures of your son...and his big beautiful eyes! my son does the same thing...poor kid!

Love ALL of these photos. And...I have the cheap lens, too...I've gotten some great shots with it. I saw your BSM from Picture This, but no way to comment, so I stopped by here.

I found you from BSM too. I'm SO glad you are joining us! Welcome. That shot is too die for! You have some beautiful shots on your blog and I'm looking forward to exploring. Also, thanks for the review of that lens. I was considering it and now I think I'll take the plunge. How could I not for that price?!
