I had the absolutely best time photographing this family! They were full of spunk and charisma - all of them!!! I have to say, first of all, that I arrived at the wrong location (actually opened a gate and drove onto someone elses property!!!!). I was sitting in this other person's driveway and thought it might be good to call and check to see if I was in the right place - turns out I wasn't!! OOOPS! That's about the time I noticed a nice young man walking toward my car - At this point, I'm really thinking UH OH - cause this is a fairly secluded place.
Here's me..."I'm so sorry sir, but I'm a photographer and I'm pretty sure I'm in the wrong place." "Did you, by any chance, schedule a photo session?" He says, "Oh, you must be looking for the Martins." I'm thinking, PRAISE THE LORD!!! He knows them!!! So, he sends me on my way in the right direction - even walks up the long drive to reopen the gate for me. I know what you're thinking - things could've been a lot worse! But, I did alright...
At any rate, I found my way to the Martin's house and as I jump out of the van (cause at this point I'm a little late). I'm greeted by a HUGE Great Dane, named TITUS. Did I say HUGE??? Then along comes his friend, another Great Dane, named TRIP. Turns out, they were the coolest dogs! I WANT ONE!! A few sniffs here and there (you can imagine) and I'm on my way!
So, back to the Martin family... These are people I could totally hang out with! We had SO much in common and believe it or not, they live about 3 miles down the road from me!! It's a small world!!
So, Martin family, after all that blabbing... here are some of the fun shots we got... enjoy!
how fun! glad everything worked out...
love the wheelbarrow, by the way !
