In case you're wondering why I haven't blogged much this week...
Yep, you guessed it! Ty broke his right arm... you know - the one he uses for everything! I'm sure you're all asking, "how does a 2 (almost 3) year old break his arm?" Well, it was this really weird fluke fall-off-your-small-twin-bed accident. Literally, he was trying to reach his favorite blue, bubble blanket and slid off his bed onto the floor on his belly, catching himself with both hands. The only problem was the book that his right arm came down on, slid forward out from under him - basically, causing a fluke, crazy arm movement - breaking both bones in his forearm.
Needless to say...Ty has a broken arm and I have a broken heart. It was awful...from my perspective anyway. Ty was a real trooper! He just kept saying, "Mom, I think I'll be okay." What a sweet, little guy. He only cried for a second, but it was completely obvious that he had broken his arm by the way it was hanging. YUCK! So, off to the hospital we went. This was all on Tuesday and, so far, he's handling it really well. It's hard for him to sleep at night, but during the day he does great.
Okay, enough about that... here are a few more pics for your Saturday enjoyment! Have a great weekend...
See how well he's doing... he's even back to digging in the dirt. I'm a little more stressed about that... how the heck do you keep those things clean on a dirty little boy?!?!
These next few are of my MANLY husband doing his thing... isn't he a hotty!!!
notice Ty's right there supervising...
Oh, and just for your viewing pleasure... a nice Wrangler hiney...
Those Wranglers could be a little tighter, I know, but when he's out working in the yard he always puts on the loose ones. Shucks!!
lol, what a post Shannon, you have me cryin at the beginning and laughing in the end. My DH is always making comments about not having in posts w/his pic on my blog, I think I'll snip that in the bud by showing him this :D He'd die!!
Also, I have to say poor Ty and poor mom. My heart physically aches when my boy's hurt. Hope it heals soon, BTW get over the clean thing you know that at happinin ;D

my goodness! what a week you have had...i had no idea! and that would break my heart too. i hate it when jackson gets hurt (luckily we haven't broken anything yet!) but just last night he fell and got a pretty big bump on his head and i know it hurt bad!! i think that's just part of having a boy!
now on to your husband...that is too funny! jeff would die if i posted pics like that...i may have to do it! lol just recently jeff had my camera and after i uploaded the pics i noticed some "similar" to these...only they were of me! aacckkk! and instantly deleted!
gotta love a guy in wranglers too!
tell ty that i hope he feels better soon...although by the pics i think he already is!

Oh poor Ty! I can't imagine what you felt like when you saw his arm in a crazy position!

Oh, that is so sad. :( I am glad he was a trooper. There is nothing harder than seeing little ones hurting. He looks so happy in that second photo. Which is lovely btw.
