Ashley & Tom....AND baby makes three...

It must be the time of year for bellies to be growing.  I've been getting a lot of calls for maternity sessions...  I really like doing the sessions outside and showing a little personality with the shots, but every once in a while a client talks me into some subtle inside shots with a dark background.  The nice thing about this couple is...they wanted BOTH!  So, that's what we did.

You might remember this cute couple from a session I did a while back...it turns out they had just found out they were pregnant back then, but were keeping it secret from me!

Oh, lets not forget this cutie pie either...
Meet Bandit the 3-legged Husky heartbreaker - He just happens to be an escape artist, too.  That's how he he lost a leg...BUT, let me tell ya...he gets around just fine! 

I SO wanted to take him home with me!
By the way, after the fun of snapping shots of this adorable boy...I'd actually consider coming to your house JUST to take photos of your pets!  No biting though! 

Maybe I should come up with a Pet Session...what do you think?

Wesley

I met Wesley and his mom in a nearby town to do a little driving around.  To me, it's the best kind of session.  You drive until you see something spectacular, stop, snap some photos, and hop back in to search for another cool location.  This is perfect for a senior because you get such diversified shots.  You can really change it up a bit, especially if you have clothing changes to go along with the different locations...AND a really cool guy like Wesley.

I could have stayed and snapped photos of Wes all night if it hadn't gotten dark on us...  It's probably a good thing it did.  Wes' mom is going to have a heck of a time choosing as it is...just take a look.

Turns out Wes is dating (for about two years) a sweetie pie I just happened to have taught in 4th grade...sure makes me feel old...

The "411" for Seniors

Damon, Nikii, Macie & Hannah

As I promised in Macie's post, your family sneak peek is here!  I met up with this group at the Myriad Gardens in OKC (it's great this time of year) for some chilly, but fun photos!  I've gotten to know Nikii pretty well in the past couple of months.  I recently took some shots for her to use in her Real Estate business.  This time the whole gang came along to join in the fun.

Macie

I had a family session this past weekend with Macie's family and had a totally rockin' time.  They were a super cool, fun group to hang with and I really enjoyed myself.  That being said, I had so many cute ones of this adorable gal I wanted to dedicate an entire post just to her.  I plan to have the family post up next...I promise.

Sweet Family...and Best Shot Monday

The Sweet family met up with me in downtown OKC after making a long 2 1/2 hour drive to get here.  They were wanting some super cool shots of their little gal who happens to be in pageants throughout the state.

AND...I figured since they were all here, we might as well throw in some fun family shots, too!

Bob the Builder...not quite

For Christmas, Ty got a Home Depot tool bench set with lots of tools (even so-called electric ones that make LOTS of noise).  Lately, he's been building stuff, fixing stuff, rearranging tools, etc.  You name it and he's working on it.

He wears this denim Apron and has lots of work hats that he puts on when he's fixing stuff.  The other day I came into his room and he was wearing more than one hat and the denim apron, of course.  I asked why he was wearing so many hats and he told me it's because he has lots of jobs to get done.  That means he has a hat for each job?

Whatever works I guess.  I spose I need to go buy him a "do the dishes" hat...

Fiona and Robert

Throughout this past year, our neighbor Terry has really become a close buddy to Ty.  Like clockwork, Terry delivers a Hotwheels car to Ty every Friday.  It's a deal they struck up when we first moved here.  Terry says it's to help Ty learn the days of the week and to look forward to the new car each Friday.  But, I know it's simply because Terry likes to have an excuse to come and talk to Ty each week.

This week...we got a little more than we bargained for...

This week...Ty got his car like always...but he also received another lovely gift...

Ty lovingly named them Fiona and Robert...Robert the policeman fish...

I know.

Fiona is the name Ty gives to pretty much all the animals in his room (stuffed) and even to various other things around here...  He cracks me up sometimes...

But, ROBERT THE POLICEMAN FISH?

nice.

That name comes from our other neighbor Robert (who happens to be a cop)...I don't think I'll tell him we have a fish named after him...

Oh and please ignore the dorky hat and apron...not sure why Ty was wearing them around the house today...the hat is about two sizes too small (I was saving it for Wes) and the apron is a few sizes too big...

He told me "Now, I look like a father!"  I'm pretty sure Josh has never worn anything like that a day in his life!  HA!
