Mother's Day just keeps getting better...& BSM

Yesterday we spent the morning playin' around outside. Josh has been building Ty a fort to play on/in and they both decided Zipper (our black lab) needed her own way into the fort since it's up so high she can't jump in. Yes, I'm serious.

Josh ended up building a ramp with wooden steps/notches for her to run up and into the fort. Hey, don't judge. I tried to tell you people Zipper goes pretty much EVERYWHERE Ty goes. I wasn't exaggerating! Maybe now you'll believe me. I promise to post pictures as soon as we get the whole thing finished. I'll even show you a couple of Zipper strutting her climbing stuff!

Anyway, back to my totally rockin' Mother's Day. Like I said, we spent the morning outside and then we all loaded up and headed over to my mom's for an afternoon dinner. Josh's parents were there along with my grandparents and parents, of course. We had a great time - DINNER WAS DELICIOUS! And, yes, I did actually eat it. I promise to post diet details this week - I know it's been a while.

After dinner, we all congregated outside to enjoy the pretty weather. All in all, I'd say Mother's Day is getting sweeter as the years go by. I love being a momma - there's nothing I would take back or change about it. In fact, I'm ready for another little rugrat to be running around this crazy place. Don't worry - I do plan to enjoy being ~~skinny~~ smaller for a while (at least for the summer anyway).
