First Swim

This weekend was our first swim of the summer.  The water was awesome, not too cold - just the way I like it.  I'm not one of those people who can dive into cold water and enjoy swimming once I get used to it.  I totally respect those people - I think they're really NEATO.  But, that's not me.  I'm a wimp.

The rest of my family is pretty much like me in the water warmth department.  We like to wait for it to really heat up before we start having swim days.  Lately, it's been really getting HOT here so the water is perfect.  So perfect, we decided to brave my parents' swimming pool Sunday afternoon before cooking burgers on the grill and enjoying a perfect evening outdoors.

Here are a few of my snapshots...nothing too fancy photowise - just memories caught in time for me to remember.


Ty would throw the ball out in the water and then swim to retrieve it.  Pretty gutsy for him...believe me.

He sits like that on his legs all the time.  I love it...such cute little chubby legs.

AND, I think this one of Josh holding Wes is my favorite of the day.  I love how small Wes' hands are in contrast to Josh's big, hard-working hands.
