Yes, I'm still alive...for now anyway.
I know it's very unlike me to be away from the blog for so long - many of you have emailed to check on me so I thought I'd better send a quick hello out to all of you in blog land.
The truth is I've been a little lazy. I've been so busy with sessions and proofing that the blog has been switched to the back burner this week. After this weekend, though, I'll be back to my regularly scheduled programming. Scout's honor!
AND, since I can't say a word here without posting a photo, here's a shot of the windmill at our local park.
I happen to LOVE windmills. Every time I see one, I have the urge to take a picture of it.
I'm not really sure why, but they give me a sense of peace and make me think of years gone by. I picture early Oklahoma prairies and everything that comes with them...dust, cattle, oil rigs, old barns, farmers, women in aprons, children chasing puppies...
You get the idea.
This one is right in the middle of the park here in town. It's not exactly a magical shot since you see the pavilion and park equipment in background. For this windmill, you'll have to imagine it the way I see it to get the full effect.
Stay tuned this week for a totally cool SALE on GIFT CERTIFICATES!!!!
See you soon.
